You may be asking, What is metal clay?

 
Bronze metal clay is my most versatile secret weapon in my artisanal weapon. Metal clay is shaped like any other clay, but it has a secret. It transforms under heat into solid metal.  I can shape this amazing material with my hands, tools and molds into incredible shapes of any size. Just like with traditional clay, you can apply any texture that you can imagine.   After drying, each piece is carefully fired in a potter’s kiln.  The binder burns away, leaving the pure metal form of my design. You would think it would be identical each time. However, this process allows for so many spontaneous variations to occur, resulting in delightfully organic textures that change with every piece. Which is why these bronze bar earrings are so much fun to wear!
